I first bought these sponges at a fair! I love the cute fruit shapes, but most of all I love how they have no odor. They do not hold food. I have been using the same sponge since September and it is still going strong!! I love them so much that I decided to bless some friends of mine with some. So thankfully I found themI saw them on Amazon!! The lemon sponge has been used since September. You can wash them in the washer also!

I have been using these exclusively at my kitchen sink for several years, and will never use anything else! They do a fine job in washing dishes and cleaning the counter, but the crucial fact for me is that there is no mildew smell, EVER. Every time I run the dishwasher (every 2 days), I place the scrubber in the top rack. The other nice thing is that they last for months!! I've recommended them and purchased them for other family members.

I expected these to not last at all, and sure enough they started smelling right away. I placed them in the dishwasher as directed, which helped a little bit. But the smell of mildew was so strong I had to throw them away. Just walking into my kitchen I smelled it! BLEH. Overall, they do last longer than normal sponges so that was a good aspect. However, I would not buy these again. Scrub Daddy's are way better and never leave an odor.
